Well, I got a hold of Anberlin’s new CD yesterday from a good friend, and I am excited because it doesn’t hit stores until the 20th. Ok, so maybe its just a few days away but do you have this cd? Exactly!
The background:
Anberlin is an American alternative rock band from Winter Haven, Florida that formed in 2002. The band consists of Stephen Christian (lead vocals), Deon Rexroat (bass guitar), Joseph Milligan (guitar), Christian McAlhaney (guitar), and Nathan Young (drums). Through constant touring and promotion via the internet, Anberlin has received much attention and press along with a large fan base. The band has released three full-length albums and an EP in their six-year run and have sold over 350,000 albums.[1]

So, if you are like me you have probably never heard of Anberlin before. I really enjoy discovering new bands and I am glad my friend threw this one at me. Anberlin’s new CD Lost Songs is packed full of good tunes. My favorite of them thus far is ‘The Haunting’ & ‘A Day Late’. Right now I am going around listening to their ‘older’ stuff online and seeing what I like so I know what to buy.
If you haven’t heard of Anberlin before then I would highly suggest you give them a listen if you are into rock / alternative as I am.
